OPP officer honoured for his work with local youth

  Timmins Daily Press - An officer with the South Porcupine detachment of the OPP has been honoured for his work with local youth. Local OPP Const. Paul Harrison has been awarded the Carl Brewer Trophy for 2010. The trophy was recently awarded Harrison, a former NHL goaltender with the Toronto Maple Leafs, in recognition for his work with Ontario's youth teaching and coordinating DARE and for his support of grass roots minor hockey programs. The trophy was presented on behalf of the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Association at its alumni golf tournament at the Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham. The award is presented to the Leaf Alumnus who most contributes to improving the lives of youth in their communities.
