Dear Minor Hockey Participants,

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce the “NHLA Hockey Dream Draw”. The Dream Draw is a fundraising partnership created for minor hockey programs across Ontario in concert with the NHL Alumni.

The Hockey Dream Draw is a tried and proven concept that has successfully generated funds for drug prevention for over a decade. The program is now poised to expand to include interested minor hockey and school programs in Ontario. In my opinion, as a former NHL goaltender and an active OPP officer, playing hockey is the original drug prevention program in Canada. Hockey has always been and will continue to be a positive alternative to drugs and violence for all who play.

The NHL Alumni Hockey Dream Draw will build a lasting legacy of much needed renewable support for minor hockey programs and families across Canada for years to come. It is our intention to develop positive partnerships, which will help support and grow the game of hockey at the grass roots level.
